Radiography

Uses X-Rays or gamma rays to create images of the internal structure of welds, piping, and components. This method reveals internal defects such as cracks, porosity, inclusions, and lack of fusion without cutting or damaging the part.

Advanced Ultrasonics (Phased Array, Shear Wave)

It employs high-frequency sound waves and advanced electronic beam steering to detect and size flaws with great accuracy. Phased array and shear wave techniques allow detailed imaging of welds and complex geometries, improving reliability in flaw detection and assessment.

Traditional Ultrasonics (Thickness Testing)

Uses conventional ultrasonic sound waves to measure material thickness and detect internal flaws. Ideal for corrosion monitoring, erosion surveys, and verifying that components meet minimum thickness requirements for safe operation.

Dye Penetrant Testing

A surface inspection method where a visible or fluorescent dye is applied to the part, then drawn into surface-breaking cracks and discontinuities. After cleaning and applying a developer, defects become clearly visible, making this effective for detecting fine surface cracks on non-porous materials.

Magnetic Particle Testing

Applies a magnetic field to ferromagnetic materials and uses finely milled magnetic particles to reveal surface and near-surface defects. Cracks and discontinuities disrupt the magnetic field, attracting particles and forming visible indications of flaws.

Hardness Testing

Measures the resistance of a material's surface to indentation or deformation. This helps verify heat treatment, material grade, uniformity, and suitability for service, and can indicate areas affected by wear, overheating, or improper processing.
